Things Idiots Say #4

"It is one thing to say, ‘I hope that this guy's proposed policies don't pass. I hope those don't become the policies of our country.’ But once they become the policies of the country, and they are designed to save us from this economic collapse, you ought to hope they succeed, unless you are hoping for your country to suffer worse in an economic collapse. I mean, actually rooting for the failure of your own federal government is pretty creepy."

Oh..my...god. So first of all, you are admitting that you actually DO understand Rush hopes the policies do not pass, thus logically suggesting you are deliberately lying about the whole "want our president (as opposed to his policies) to fail" thing just to build faux-support. Secondly, how in God's name can you say "...rooting for the failure of your own federal government is pretty creepy" with a straight face? What have you been doing for the past 8-years? Accountibility is dead.
