A Libertarian Manifesto- All we want is to be free.

Freedom (noun)
1) The state of being free, of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
2) The state of being free, unconstrained; the lack of a specific constraint, or of constraints in general.

Liberty (noun)
1) The condition of being free from control or restrictions.
2) The condition of being free to act, believe or express oneself as one chooses.
3) Freedom from excess government control.

This is the mission statement of the United States of America. All laws, court rulings or make-believe rights derive from this sentence. We are a country suffering from a cancer that has been spreading for hundreds of years- government.

Before I get into it, let me address the usual potshots I get from some of my fellow citizens. First, I am not an anarchist. I am not promoting "no government". Second, I am not saying that nobody should pay taxes. Third, I am not a "Bush supporter" nor am I an "Obama-basher". All I want is to live my life in my little part of the world, free of any control or restrictions imposed by idiots from New York City or Chicago, and pursue happiness the way I, NOT YOU, see fit.

I am not a buffoon or a child that has to be coddled, taken care of, or told what's good for me. If I decide to live in Florida and my house gets flattened by a hurricane, it is MY responsibility. If I decide to break into someones house and they shoot me, it is MY fault. If I feel my compensation is unfair, it is MY responsibility to go find a better job. If I want to smoke cigarettes, I am free to pursue my happiness. If I get cancer from it, it is MY fault.

We live in a society today that has been perverted by secular progressives who praise freedoms, but with the other hand strike down yours. Gun Control. Forced tax-and-spend plans. Rewriting history. What is so radical about just wanting the world to mind their own damn business? What? What is so wrong with just wanting to be left alone? This myth of "fairness" is a large part of it. You have to be stripped of your freedom to smoke because it "is not fair" to those around you. You have to pay higher taxes to fund welfare programs and create jobs for unskilled workers because it is "not fair". There are people in Africa starving and dying of Dengue Fever...is that "fair"? Is is "fair" that Labron James plays basketball for a living and is a millionaire while I work 7o hour weeks to pay the bills? Was it "fair" that my cousin was born to a wheelchair? No, it isn't. There is no "fair". Things are as they are. Period. They either "are" or they "are not". You can either piss and moan about it, or you can stand up and make something of yourself.

Currently, we have a government, usually not even representing you unless you live in New York City, that says "YOU WILL TAKE THIS AND YOU WILL LIKE IT." To me, that does not agree to the original mission statement above. We have spent the last hundred years paying politicians to make up a bunch of restrictions for us and micromanaging our lives, resulting in the rotting of our society. No, you can't drink that beer on your front porch. No, you can't own that gun. No, you cannot spank your disrespectful child. "We are not racists, but you don't have enough black people working here. Go hire more, but don't do it based on race". That's just the beginning. Then we get into the "protective laws": You cannot drive faster than 65, you cannot drink under 21, you are required to pay us a tribute so we can redistribute it how WE see fit. I don't know about y'all, but to me it seems pretty simple: "You are all idiots and morons, and we have to protect you from yourselves". Then as a society, especially the liberal parasites who feed off this cancerous tumor that is the government, we like to make up a bunch of rights that don't exist. Just this morning, I heard someone talking about the "right to marriage". How many times have you heard of the "right to privacy"? I mean, I realize that the Constitution is 200 years old, but there is a difference between saying "well, this shouldn't be taken literally because we don't ride horses to work" and saying "well, I think that by 'freedom of speech' they really intended to say it is ok to burn the American flag and spit in the faces of US soldiers". For the love of God, people... why is this so radical??

Just get the hell out of the way and let people pursue happiness. Don't confuse this with another make-believe right- the "right to be happy". If your pursuit of happiness leads to you living in a shack eating garbage or leads to you being dead in a ditch, fine. You have that right. More power to you. If it makes you happy to spit in the face of a US Troop, fine. Go ahead. When he punches you in the face and beats your ass, don't come crying to the court system. They owe it to you to respect your "right" to be an idiot.

The nanny state we have created, both financially and socially, is the enemy of all the principles we were founded on. All we want is to stick to the original deal we agreed to. All we want is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Just get the hell out of the way. Let me live my life. You live yours. All we want is to be left alone.

Terminator in Real Life- Liberals attack history...again.

Just like in the movie "The Terminator" when they send the machine back in time to off John Connor's mother-to-be, the "there are no rules in (political) war" liberals are at it again. On the front page of the USA Today (McPaper) this morning, there was a big fat article on the Columbine shooters. Yes, the ones from 10 years ago. According to this piece of "reporting", "investigators" have decided that the shooters were not gothic trench-coat wearing weird kids. Suddenly, these "investigators" have decided they were actually your run-of-the-mill good student middle class normal white kids, who now apparently had a problem with "fags" and "alternative kids". How convenient, right? Doesn't it seem hard to believe that you could have in any possible way confused the type of kids they were originally described as with the type described in this article?

Of course, they did not quote a single police officer or FBI agent in the entire article. Ever. Not once. Their primary sources were some jackass who wrote a book on the matter.

Could it be, just maybe, that this is another example of the nazi-liberals trying to very sneakily marginalize normal traditionally conservative people? Their assault is not limited to the newspapers, either. Public Schools, Colleges and Universities, Network TV...it is everywhere. Free speech is a great thing, however we cannot let the line between opinions, facts, and total BS become unclear. We cannot allow people to rewrite history. Next thing you know, people will say Lincoln fought the civil war to end slavery....oh...Wait....what??

A Glimpse Into the Mind.....

Awakened at 6am to a loud metallic crash. Jumped out on bed and looked into the back yard...thought someone was screwing around and may need to get delt with. Then realized it was a trash truck emptying a dumpster at the apartment complex next door. Got back in bed. Had a dream that I went to karate class wearing only MMA shorts and got yelled at for being late and not wearing proper attire. Woke up again, realized it was 7am, rationalized i didn't need to shower b/c i just showered last night. Brushed hair, teeth, got dressed, etc. Time check: 7:09. Fed the dog and fish, grabbed lunch and ate breakfast while watching "Fox & Friends" talk about the Somali hostage situation. Thought to myself "What is so hard to understand about this? if everyone had guns, they would have shot those Somali SOB's and there would have been no problem". Then realized it was 7:29...ran out the door. Had to move Jo's car as I was blocked in again. Cursed a lot. While backing out of the driveway, got honked at by some jackass who was using my street as a through-street and thought for some reason I was going to back out of my driveway without stopping to look around. Idiot. Thought: He probably isn't even a legal citizen...He's probably still consuming my tax dollars, though. Jerkface. Drove to the metro listing to my favorite morning show: The Junkies. They were talking about Obama's numerous gaffes, such as touching the queen or bowing to the Saudi prince. Thought: you know, for a bunch of loyal liberals to finally be making fun of the anointed one, maybe things are going to turn around. Parked the car and thought: How is it that they are embarrassed by bowing to a Saudi prince, but they are ok with the Bamster running around like a drunk teenage girl with her daddy's credit card??? These people's vote counts just as much as mine...FML. Walked into the metro and got a free "paper" (aka. CRAP) from the hand-out-papers guy. Told him good morning, as always, and thought: "There is a 99.9% chance he voted for Obama because he's black, but I like this guy...he actually has a job and is here every morning. Good for him". Just missed the metro train, but got a good laugh at all the 40-something year old men who sprinted down the escalator about to kill themselves because they thought that getting to work 4 minutes earlier would somehow make a difference (Yes, they missed the train too). Stood on the platform, had some foreign woman walk up and stand DIRECTLY in front of me. Like....almost standing on my toes. What the hell lady? Give me some personal space here! Next train showed up, and the lady literally (physically) bumped me out of her way to be first on the train. If this was the good 'ole days (creation of the earth - 1700 AD), I probably would have smacked her in the back of the head. Got on the next train, stood in the middle of the car as instructed, and took my standard look around. No hotties today. The guy sitting down next to where I was standing had on some weird looking glasses and a nervous twitch. Note to self: Keep your eye on this clown. He's the most likely person on this train car to go crazy and shoot everyone. Be prepared to rain down some GnP on his face. Started to read the paper. First up: Somali pirates article. Thought: I don't care about this anymore. If you go into those waters w/o rolling heavy, you are an idiot. Next up: Random Headlines. Thought: See, this is why newspapers are going out of business. I read about all this crap on the Internet 2 days ago. Next: State Department open to Nuke Talks with Iran. Thought: "Ugh. I cannot believe we built this country into a superpower, and have given it up to total freaking MORONS. If I want something from the gov't, I'll just have to threaten them from now on. Creepy man check: Nope...he's still just sitting there. Everything's cool. Continued to read paper: "Iran charges US journalist as spy" (Screw 'em. Statistically, if you let him/her rot in an Iranian prison, you are doing us a favor) and "Mob storms Communist gov't offices in Moldova" (Why the hell does Moldova have the balls to take their country back, but Americans- who actually started the whole idea- will do nothing about our socialist tyrants?). Then read through the 8-10 pages of crap on arts and indie-rock. Could not understand why so much time and effort was wasted writing and producing a paper on this garbage. Thought: these people probably even get PAID. Jesus. Creepy-man check: Watch out, he just stood up. Ok...he's getting off the train. All clear. Case the area again: No hotties, but also no psychos. Nice. Finally, the opinion section. "60% feel Gay marriage will eventually be legal in all 50 states"- Oh god, kill me now. Reader comment: "I hope that some day people will see past their own ignorance, bigotry and hatred and accept the basic human right of marriage". HOLD THE F ON: 1) Why is it that anyone who disagrees with you is a hater, bigot or ignoramus? 2) Where in the bill of rights does it say anything about marriage? 3) Marriage is a religious thing, and those who support gay marriage also are the biggest rejectors of religion...what the hell is that about? As this comment could have come from the mouth of any number of liberal-hippy-idiot-d-bags standing around me on the metro, I am now officially pissed off at the world around me, and it is only 8:09am. Got off the metro, still annoyed at all the things I read in the paper. Saw a bunch of cops at the top of the escalator and though "oh crap...I still haven't changed my driver's license". They were handing out fundraiser flyers for a fish fry tomorrow. $8 bucks a plate. I thought: You know, if I'm going to spend $8 on lunch, I'd 10-times over rather give it to the cops who are cleaning up DC than those creepy Asians in the cafeteria downstairs that only take cash and constantly rip you off. I'm def. going to the fish fry tomorrow. Walked up to my office, found the door was locked. Thought: Sweet, I'm the first one here. They can't give me any crap for being the first one to leave...wait...no...logic and rationality does not apply. Nobody ever asks what time you got here...they only ask why you are leaving. God I hate the attitudes of DC. Fired up my laptop. Thought: You know, I need to get this out. I wonder if it is just me, or if everyone is like this? Better post in my blog...

The other side of the looking glass: AIG can save us all.

AIG has a opportunity here, folks. Congress has thrown them a hanging curveball, and it is right in their wheelhouse if they will just pull the trigger. AIG can make amends to us, the taxpayers, by taking this one over the green monster...even off the warehouse....

When Congress demands the execs who received bonuses come "testify" before them, TELL CONGRESS TO SCREW OFF.

Congess works for us, the taxpayers. Someone needs to put them in their place. Obviously, in their unprecedented self importance, Congress is going to issue subpoenas to force the execs to come before the inquisition and be "purified". Let them come. Make Pelosi and Frank send the US Marshalls after you. Make sure the TV cameras SEE the US Marshalls (or Congress' SS) come take you in handcuffs out of your houses. Make the American people see that Congress has a blatant disregard for the laws of the United States. It might just be what we need to finally get up and take our country back. It will be a bloodless Boston Massacre...and god willing, a bloodless American Revolution to follow, finally bringing "the change we need".

Gut check time, AIG. Are you going repent for your poor judgement and fight the real criminals, or are you going to be summoned like a dog and fall on the sword for Congress? WWFD- What Would the (Founding) Fathers Do?

Oh..my...god. So first of all, you are admitting that you actually DO understand Rush hopes the policies do not pass, thus logically suggesting you are deliberately lying about the whole "want our president (as opposed to his policies) to fail" thing just to build faux-support. Secondly, how in God's name can you say "...rooting for the failure of your own federal government is pretty creepy" with a straight face? What have you been doing for the past 8-years? Accountibility is dead.

Where's the Beef?

So over the weekend, I had a great conversation with a well-respected (and a rarity- an independent thinker) friend about the current economic situation. In the absence of the usual liberal garbage talking points, I was actually introduced to a few legitimate points worthy of my thoughts...

"He (Obama) is trying to stimulate the economy"

We are just going to have to agree to disagree here. I do not believe he is trying to stimulate the economy at all. I think he is just following his marching orders of the People's Democratic Party. I think they have identified that due to the unpopularity of George Bush and the economic recession, they have a limited window to push through the agenda that has repeatedly failed
for the last 10 years, as they can blame everything that is unpopular on Bush or say "we're trying to fix the economy". SWAT teams do the same thing- it's called flashbang grenades. I do not believe that he or the Democrat Machine care about anything more than their political careers and the Party agenda. They have decided what they think is good for all of us, and now for them it is about "winning".


"It isn't going to get better immediately...it's going to take time"

Of course it takes time. That is how a free-market capitalist economy works. The market goes up and down. When it goes down, over time it goes back up. The problem is that in a year or two, the market is going to go back up anyway. That's just how it works. As mentioned above, this is part of the Democratic smokescreen. First, they are going to say "look what our policies did" when it had nothing at all to do with our conversion to Socialism. Second, right now they are saying "this is going to take a year or so", which is convenient since that is how long is is going to take anyway. So basically they have set it up to where they have about one year to do anything they want under the cover of "we're working on it", and then when the market recovers anyway, they are going to take credit for it. Why is Socialism, or the "New new deal" not going to work? Jeff Macke, of Capital Strategies, had some good thoughts:

"Scared people don't spend. Americans are scared because no one's in charge and the plans that they hear don't make sense."
Since Obama took office on Jan. 20, the Dow has lost 900 points. "If the president changes his tune even a little bit, it's almost impossible to be worse in terms of his tone - if he improves a little bit, we can get 2,000 points out of this easily," Macke added.

As I've been saying, the market doesn't approve of Socialism. If you really want to stimulate the economy, step one is to reach out to business and show us that you are going to actually support the economy. Talk is cheap. Show up or shut up.


"We need to invest in renewable industry"

Renewable industry is a good idea. Clean coal? Fine. I agree this is something we need to pursue. Does this stimulate the economy of a country in a recession? No. There is a market for it, true. Business is going to move in that direction anyway, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have Government incentives. While this is a good idea, this is like shooting spitwads at a tank. Business is cyclical. We don't invent things and then rest on our laurels. We understand product life-cycles. Business, by definition, is renewable. Humanity will always have needs, and business is always evolving to fill them. Get out of the way.

We did that once already by giving people a tax refund, including some people who don't pay taxes (which i'm still trying to figure out). It didn't really work. Why? Because a lot of (smart) people didn't spend it. The same thing happened when they gave the banks all that coin. They put it in the safe. What about jobs? Should we create jobs for the people? YES. The problem: it has to be perpetual and productive. The government jobs, as the current administration has been pushing, are not perpetual nor are productive. So you go hire people to construct a building or a road....what happens when it is finished? You lose your job. Not only that, but what about all the jobless people who are not construction workers? What about the laid off accountants? On top of that, how does a road contribute to the economy? Ok, you can drive to some business. Chances are, you can drive there now. Furthermore, government organizations do not produce anything. They provide jobs for a limited amount of people, and do not increase the wealth or the GDP. Private industry, on the other hand, contribute to the GDP, the market, and creates jobs exponentially. As the business grows, the jobs grow. Their vendors also grow.

Finally, wealth and the economy is not as simple as having a job. While a job does give you a paycheck, a large portion of the wealth in this county resides in the stock market. Giving people jobs does not create stock market wealth. Stock market wealth, however, gives people more jobs. It creates the largest single source of capital for business growth and expansion, including creating new jobs.

Why this is NOT the Obamination's fault..

I sit here and rip on the Bamster on a daily basis. I have nightmares about his vision for America. I read the liberal newspapers every day and am guaranteed to have a new topic to set me off. It appears these days that almost every single thing they do or say ticks me off. The current collapse (economically, socially and otherwise) we are in is NOT Obama's fault, however. While Obama does lie on a daily basis through his non-sequiter arguments and political doublespeak, he has been true to his campaign promises- foster class warfare and bring "the change we need". Whos' fault is this mess? To 56% of America- IT IS YOUR FAULT.



You voted for this change. I mean...it makes total sense...we were the world's leading superpower with the highest standard of living on the planet. OBVIOUSLY we would want to change that, right? Everyone keeps talking about the "average American" who is "dumb" and "stupid". Is that what the "average American" has become??? It was the "average American" who picked up his soon-to-be-outlawed 1770's version-of-the-assault-rifle and fought and won freedom from the most powerful nation on earth at the time. It was the "average American" who moved across the plains, blazing new trails and exploring the plains, Rockies and Pacific coast. It was the "average American" who opened factories in the 1880's and worked in the plants to make us an industrialized nation. It was the "average American" who fought for freedom in 2 world wars. It was the "average American" who made this country what it is (or what it was, anyway). So how then , can we say that the "average American" is "stupid" and "dumb"? Have they become so?

Today we think of the "average American" and a blue collar worker who works 40 hours a week and goes home to sit on their duff and watch "American Idol", "Lost" or "The Bachelor". Note: the news is not anywhere in there. By their own admission, they "do not care" or consider themselves "apathetic". Did the "average American 233 years ago "not care"? Did the "average American" talk about the "horrors" of Teddy Roosevelt and his big stick policy? No. They didn't.

They also did not spend money they didn't have. Well, technically they did, and those that did lost their house. We seem to think that we live in some bubbly fantasy world where the streets are paved with chocolate and we have gumdrop stoplights. We are like toddlers who say "I want that" and then cry when we can't get it. Not having a recliner or a plasma TV is seen as "suffering". Nevermind that kids are stepping on Russian landmines in Afghanistan or starving to death in Ethiopia. You are "suffering"....from what? 8 years of George Bush? Did George Bush sign that mortgage you cannot afford? Did George Bush decide buy that gas-guzzling car in your driveway that you complain about filling up at high gas prices? Did George Bush invest your life savings into non-tangible assets of no set value known as "stocks"? NO. Did Barack Obama? NO. YOU DID.

Our political system is broken for one clear reason- there will never be a politician who is going to stand up and say "We're in a crisis, and you know what? It's our fault. We did this to ourselves. No, you cannot have that because we cannot afford it. No, I am not going to help you because you need to start by helping yourself. No, it is not McDonald's fault you spilled hot coffee on yourself...you, ma'am, are an idiot."

So the question I ask myself almost every single day- How did the same person who picked up his musket, risked his life and sacrificed everything for his principals become the abomination that we have today that sits on his couch watching 30 Rock or Larry King, feeling sorry for himself and blaming "the man" for getting laid off? How did we become a society of people who would rather buy rims and pimp their ride rather than take care of their kids, only to blame Bush for not having a good life? How did we become a society where a murderer is not guilty of murder, because he is a victim of a harsh society?

Is Obama bringing change? Yep. Did you vote for it? Yep. When Obama bankrupts the country and turns us into a socialist democracy, who's fault is it, really?

.....Your fault.

Explaining the Constitution- 2nd Amendment

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

This one is pretty easy. The only reason this is even really discussed is because the Constitution is once again standing squarely between liberals and their agenda. It is simply the parsing of words, just like the definition of "is" or "earmark" (or "Socialist").

regulate- v. 1. to adjust for accurate or proper functioning. 2. to put or maintain in order.

Militia - n. 1. An army of trained civilians, potentially called upon in time of need; 2. the entire able-bodied population or a private force, not under government control.

arms- n. 1. an instrument of attack or defense in combat, e.g. a gun, missile, or sword;
2. an instrument or other means of harming or exerting control over another

infringe- v. 1. to encroach, break or violate a standing agreement, right, contract, etc.

So for those of you that appear to have difficulty comprehending the English language, I have translated:

"A well ordered and properly functioning able-bodied population, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear instruments of attack and defense in combat, shall not be encroached, broken or violated."

What is so difficult to understand about that?

Was the DC gun ban unconstitutional? Obviously. The common babble I get back on this is "but people don't need machine guns"- sorry to break it to you, but that is not for you to decide. I think it is pretty clear. It does not say "the right of the people to keep hunting rifles, pepper spray and stun guns shall not be infringed". It also does not say "shall not be infringed with the following exceptions.....". It clearly, in very plain English, says "ARMS...SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. (period)"

I ticks me off that our society is so corrupt that this even needs to be explained.

5. Admitted to ourselves, and to another human beings the exact nature of our wrongs.
6. Were entirely ready to remove all these defects of character, such as demonizing George Bush or supporting murderers like Ted Kennedy.

National Liberalism Awareness Month

So over the past few weeks, I been looking around at all the awareness being raised- Black History month, Breast Cancer awareness, Women's Cardiovascular Disease awareness, AIDS awareness, Hispanic Heritage Month, etc. While these are all good causes, it bothers me that the #1 plague affecting the country today, more so than AIDS or Cancer, does not have its own awareness program.

As such, I propose making March "National Liberalism Awareness Month".

This works out great because it perfectly coincides with Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Let's look at our objective here:

awareness n 1: having knowledge of; "Voters had no awareness of his lack of credibility";[syn: {consciousness}, {cognizance}, {cognisance}, {knowingness}]
2: state of elementary or undifferentiated consciousness; "the farcical policies enacted by the Obama administration destroyed his savings and finally intruded on his awareness" [syn: {sentience}]

My blog is going to be almost entirely dedicated to raising said awareness.

Now I am not one to try to be convincing. I have been called "arrogant" and "abrasive". Let me set the record straight. What is the difference between "arrogance" and "confidence"? Both say what they think and think they are in the right. The Arrogant person insists she/he is correct and beats the opposition down. The Confident person does not insist anything, and calmly respects your right to be incorrect. If you choose to support policies that do not work, were not designed to work, and are plain dishonest, I calmly respect your right to be an idiot...which leads into being "abrasive". If you truly believe in yourself, no amount of verbal bombardment should bother you if you actually believe what you say. While being abrasive is not ideal, I do not feel any need to reach out to a group of people who are actively attempting to destroy my way of life...look what happened to the American Indians?

So why not be convincing? Because people will not be convinced. I think it must be human nature to resist facing your faults. If you have spent the last 5, 10, 50 or 60 years making the world a worse place, why would you ever want to repent? I would be completely horrified if one day I had the realization that I owed the entire world an apology. So what do we do? We put it on lockdown. How many people do you think voted for Bill "Slick Willly" Clinton and then said "oh my god?! What have I done? The man is completely unethical and has no regard for the laws of our country! I'd better not make that mistake again"? Hardly any, as he was elected twice. How many people said "You know, I don't like Bush, but this radical hatemongering is totally ridiculous."? Not many, b/c they elected the Obamination. In our darkest hours, though, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

What good can come of this? Well, if we hadn't had King George, there would have been no George Washington. If we hadn't had Jimmy Carter, there would have been no Ronaldus Magnus. If we hadn't had Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy "Jack in the box" Pelosi and Dingy Harry Reid, there wouldn't have been ....... ? Although we may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death, the next chapter has yet to be written. Those who refuse to look within at their ideological mistakes, refuse to make the world a better place, and refuse to *CHANGE*, have an opportunity here. It is a get-out-of-jail-free card. The OPR (Obama-Pelosi-Reid) regime is well on their way to screwing everything up so badly....for years to come...that you can say "whoa.....hold on. This is ridiculous. This is NOT the party I have been supporting. You people have gone crazy." You can pick yourself up by your bootstraps and say "enough of this crap. I am better than this". You can help right the ship. If you want Socialism- fine with me. Go make California an independent territory and it can be a socialist state, but do NOT take my country and my way of life that has been here for 250 years and change it. That is what the Nazis did to Europe. As as result, we rose up and relegated them to history books. I pray that there will never be a need for another such uprising, as hopefully we learn from our history. Nobody faulted Nazi defectors, and nobody will fault liberated-liberals either. Alcoholics reform all the time. It is tough, but they say "you know what? I'm done with this. I am better than this." If you really care about humanity, save yourselves. We can start a support group right now- "LA" - Liberals Anonymous.

The first step towards solving a problem is accepting that it exists.

Secession- The Only True Compromise

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's GOD entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. (More to come on that)

Through Senator Obama's (the "Obamination") efforts to "bring people together" ("we are one"), we have become more polarized than we ever have been in the last 150 years. His Red Army, along with Polkovnik General Pelosi and Generalfeldmarschall Reid, are well on their way to simply punting the Constitution (More to come on DC Voting rights and other treasons). As the Federal Government eventually gets to the point where they are refusing to adhere to the powers granted to them by the free citizens of these United States, their contract with the people is broken.

That being said, there are quite a few people (56% to be exact) who believe that nothing bad can happen in America, it is ok to spend money that doesn't exist because the Obamination grows it on his magic money bush in the white house, and that the best way to deal with suicidal terrorists is to talk to them over a cup of tea (because that worked with the Japanese, right?). As these people make up about half of the country, these people have the right to their opinion. If that is how they want to live their lives...awesome. What is NOT ok, however, is when their total stupidity (yeah, I said it) puts the rest of us at risk- economically, socially or militarily (more to come on all those).

Since the Obamination campaigned on compromise and bipartisanship, I would love to help. Start by listening to your boy John "She had terminal cancer so I just went ahead and started moving on" Edwards- there are two Americas. We should recognize them.

SPLIT IT IN HALF. There are two ways to do this...either let each state decide for itself whether it wants to join the People's Republik of Amerika or the United States, or just draw a line down the middle. California and Hawaii go to the People's Republik, and the USA gets Alaska. Would some people get screwed by living is a state that ends up on the wrong side? Yep. I would be totally willing to pay extra taxes to fund a government check to cover their moving expenses to get the hell out.

Everybody's reaction to this is "no,no,no.....we need to preserve the union" WHAT THE HELL FOR? So we can all suffer from the Obaminations shopping spree? Screw that. I honest-to-God to not understand why people think this is so far-fetched? Lots of countries do it- Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Korea, China and Germany. So why is it that people are afraid of it? Well, if you look at the aforementioned countries, the answer is obvious- THE SOCIALIST SIDE ALWAYS SUCKS.

The USA would continue on with business as usual. Actually, life would improve now that the hard working moral people have successfully removed the cancerous tumor from society. People would be free to pursue happiness (omg...what a thought), spend their money the way they want, talk about whatever is on their mind, and begin mending the moral fabric of society. We could resume being a competitive society, and usher in a new era of advances in technology and medicine. Crime would be drastically reduced, as a result of a greater percentage of people being moral and year-round open season on criminals.

The People's Republik would also continue on as usual, for a while. The largest problem they would face would be finding funding for their plethora of social programs. As they would have far, FAR fewer producers in their country to steal from, they would be forced to exploit Hollywood, as that would be about the only source of tax revenue. As that was bled dry, they would be left with a choice: sell bonds, print money or raise taxes. As nobody would actually buy junk bonds, they would be forced to resort to 80-90% tax rates. It would become a government controlled state (See North Korea). The labor unions would all evaporate as the businesses would move to the USA, and the remaining businesses would be taken over by the all-controlling government. Out of desperation, crime would run rampant.

Is it any wonder some people are horrified at the idea of true compromise? It is like a leech who is detached from its host (if I was a leech, I would be horrified too). The fact their plan is centered around enslaving the producers in society is not acceptable.

But why is this idea so ridiculous? They can have their labor unions, they can get rid of religion, they can tax the hell out of people, they can ban guns, they can have talks with terrorists and they can buy everyone a house if they want to.

Everyone wins, right? Isn't this a "win-win-win"?

My Voting Plan

So I complain about the voting process on a regular basis, and one of you finally called me out and said "well what would you do about it?" I have thought about this, and come up with the following as the most fair process:

a. Require a very easy, basic 10 question test at the ballot to "qualify" your vote. Questions will be as such:
1. How many justices are on the Supreme Court?
2. Name the 3 branches of government
3. Name the 2 VP's running in this election
4. How many senators represent your state?
Your score on this test "qualifies" your vote. If you score 10/10, you get one full vote. If you score 8/10, you get 80% of 1 vote. A 1/10 or 0/10 gets you 1/10 of a vote, and that is only because you have the right to vote. This system ensures that incompetent votes may retain their fundamental right to vote, while protecting competent voters from skewed election results, regardless of party affiliation. We believe this is the most fair process, as it directly links voter competence to the valuation of that vote.

b. If you do not pay income taxes, the maximum your vote can count is 1/4 of a vote (even if you score a 10/10). This is under the philosophy that some social issues and foreign policy may not be 100% related to tax revenue, but the remaining 3/4 of the issues are, and since you don't pay, you don't get an opinion.

c. Rotate the questions every year so people cannot cheat. They should be kept to a very basic high school level. For example, asking voters to name the 35th president is not relevant as would not be an appropriate question.

d. Absentee ballots may be cast, but only counted if a current valid US passport is provided. This is to ensure no "fake' absentee ballots or dead people are counted.

e. If you vote and then die, your vote does not count.

f. Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Marianas, and other US Territories may only receive 1/4 of a vote. See item b. The District of Columbia also qualifies for 1/4 of a vote, but only on the basis that the US Constitution felt it necessary to deny them congressional representation for a reason.

A little background....

I'm male in my late 20's. I live in the Washington, DC area (aka the 8th circle of hell). I have a college degree from a public university, go to work 5 to 6 days a week and make between $50 and $100K a year, just like the rest of the middle class in this country. I pay all my taxes (so I am not eligible for Obama's cabinet). I'm married, go to church every now and again, rent a house and have a dog.

I have moved 15 times in 20-some years, and I lived overseas for a number of them, in a 3rd world country.

My race is irrelevant, as we strive for a colorblind society. My family came to America between 1680 and 1720 to start a new life. I have inherited nothing, and expect nothing. Nobody gave my ancestors anything- it didn't stop them.

We have fought for freedom for centuries, including the 1688 and 1745 Jacobite rebellions, serving in the Continental Army and the Confederate Armies, running Blockades in two wars for Independence, and fighting for freedom in two World Wars. When I read my Grandfathers' diaries, I tear up. I admit it. In the interest of maintaining the militia, I own multiple firearms, use them regularly, and will gladly serve the country of my Grandfathers if the need arises, provided it is in defense of freedom.

All people are created equal. I am accepting of all people regardless of ethnicity, creed, sex, orientation, etc. You have the right to do your thing, whatever it may be. Even if I think you are an idiot, I still respect your right to do your thing. I will not, however, tolerate it when "your thing" infringes on me.

All I want out of life is to experience all that I can, raise a strong family, live a content life, help those around me, and leave the world a better place than it was when I arrived.
